Pinto Brasil will be present at Productronica 2017

Pinto Brasil – Industrial Machinery Factory will be present at the biennial Productronica 2017 fair, which will take place from 14 to 17 November in Munich, Germany.

Pinto Brasil participates for the 2nd time in the largest international event in the area, and this presence follows the consolidation of the company’s commercial and internationalization strategy and its main objective is the presentation of the new industrial solutions of Pinto Brasil and to further close the ties with its partners.

Pinto Brasil will be present at Productronica 2017

Pinto Brasil – Industrial Machinery Factory will be present at the biennial Productronica 2017 fair, which will take place from November 14 to 17 in Munich, Germany. This is the second time that Pinto Brasil participates in the biggest international event in the area, and this presence follows the consolidation of the company’s commercial and internationalization strategy and its main objective is the presentation of Pinto Brasil’s new industrial solutions.

No other trade fair gives us such a comprehensive look at the global market for electronics production as Productronica. Every two years, the “Who’s Who” of the industry gathers in Munich for a unique trade show with innovative solutions and products for the entire value chain in electronics manufacturing.

There are plenty of good reasons why in 2015 1,160 exhibitors participated in the fair to present their latest developments to some 37,000 competent trade visitors from 85 countries, to make contacts with decision-makers from all sectors of the electronics -manufacturing industry and to give themselves a valuable information advantage.

As an international trade fair for electronics production, Productronica brings together all domestic and international participants in the industrial, research and media sectors.

Pinto Brasil participates in job fair at DOMUS CAPITAL

On September 29, at the invitation of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs Portugal-China, Pinto Brasil participated in another fair to publicize job offers. The Human Resources and Marketing team were present at the DOMUS CAPITAL building, in Valongo, to make known the company and also the Pinto Brasil Group, as well as all areas of work and open employment opportunities.

Pinto Brasil Group has started its activity in 1991, in the metalworking sector, namely in the automotive wiring industry. Eng. Mira Amaral visits Pinto Brasil S.A. facilities

On 12th January, Pinto Brasil Group had the honour to welcome Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), represented by Eng. Mira Amaral and Dr. Miguel Medina.

The aim of this visit was to promote the strategic partnerships in projects of common interest, namely in the Development and innovation field, as it is a very important matter for Pinto Brasil Group.


Minister inaugurates industrial unit in Guardizela

The Minister of Economy has presided the inauguration of the new plant of Pinto Brasil Group, in Guardizela, Guimarães. This important group from Guimarães was established in 1991 and since then has dedicated its activity to the development of engineering technical solutions in order to satisfy its customers’ needs.

Specialized in the metalworking sector, Pinto Brasil develops solution for the wiring industry and industrial logistics, highly oriented to automotive and aeronautic sector. The company is in compliance with the highest standards and stands as one of the most important supplier of some of the biggest worldwide companies, such as car manufacturers and its main suppliers.

Pinto Brasil has a success story as it is proved by its presence in several parts of the world.

Pinto Brasil Group exports more than 90% of its total production for the worldwide market and employs more than 350 people. The new plant in Guardizela, that has been recently inaugurated, exports 90% of its production, around 15 million Euros were invested in it and it has around 10 thousand square meters.

The ceremony started with a guided visit to the facilities and the Minister of Economy, António Pires de Lima, the mayor of Guimarães, Domingos Bragança and several regional political leaders took part in it. It was followed by the unveiling of the plaque and the facilities were blessed by Reverend Cónego Mendes. According to the protocol, the opening speeches have begun with Pinto Brasil Group’s CEO, Manuel Pinto Brasil that has made an emotional speech and thanked his family, especially his father and wife for its empire.

“I want to thank my family for the support, especially to my father, my wife and my children. We believe that we are meant to go on with this ambition that keeps growing and that excellence is not an act, but a habit”. In addition, António Pinto Brasil – plant manager – mentioned that “the current economic situation is quite demanding so Pinto Brasil is required to have a leading position in a market that allows it to win and become a player that stands out of its business area. We proudly inaugurate these facilities, a crucial landmark in the history of this company and industrial group that, only with 22 years of existence has reached a distinguished reputation”.

The mayor of Guimarães, Domingos Bragança, was visibly delighted to see that our region still has its value and is able to implement economic forces which are indispensable to its growth.  “You can count on the city council of Guimarães. These projects value the region and the country. These sorts of ventures are highly commended because they still manage to emerge through this economical crisis”. The minister of economy, António Pires de Lima, enhanced that deficit reduction is due to companies like Pinto Brasil. “We live in a moment of economic turning point and consequently employment creation. Setting up in difficult circumstances has an added value and it shows love towards motherland.

Until the end of 2015, Pinto Brasil Group foresees for its new plant in Guardizela the duplication of annual turnover, as well as job creation around 75 people”, he concluded.
